There are many stories of failed starts to practicing. In order to be effective, your form and intent must be correct. Now that you have started practicing, focus on perfecting your practice. With your initial start, you should be well into practicing for at least 5 minutes. While even this minimal practice time will help... it is much like making a minimum payment on your credit card bill. To get ahead on your "health debt" and reverse your cancer, you must invest heavily, consistently and progressively. Perfecting your practice is a multi-dimensional goal. Look at the time, the position, your mindset during practice... all with the goal of maximizing your results of gathering healing life-energy. Note that we are discussing the closed hand method here only. The facing hand standing and the sitting positions are advanced positions. Master Li's book 'Resurrecting from Cancer" is recommended when you are ready to move to the advanced positions. Perfecting Your Time. Start adding to your ZiJiu practice time. move as soon as you can to 10 minutes. Increase gradually to get to a goal of 30 minutes. A person trying to reverse cancer needs a goal of 1 hour. The "3 hour club" will have very positive results, but should be a longer term goal. Tips for perfecting your time:
Perfecting Your Position. The position and surroundings are extremely important. Master Li has spent years of research to find the exact position for the maximum results. To ensure that your position is perfect, you can join a home-based practice site in your area or, after reviewing the DVD, have someone take pictures of your position then compare them for your self. Tips for perfecting your position during practice:
Perfecting Your Mindset. The best mindset is an empty mind. No thoughts during practice. It's at this point, with a strong position, that the spirit takes over and you begin to gather healing life-energy. This is the regenerative life-energy, like that of an unborn child in its mother's womb. This is the goal. Achieving an empty mind actually may be the hardest, yet the most rewarding. At first, your concentration on the position will consume all your thoughts. Your mind will be filled with thoughts of the initial pain of the position. But, as Master Li points out, "at least you are now focusing on your body and on your health - that is a positive change from your debtor past". Some tips to improving your mindset:
